Polo Beach Club sits directly on Polo Beach. The building sits less than 25 feet from the sand. The beach is sandy and the water relatively shallow for the first 75 to 100 feet depending on the time of year, tide conditions and time of day.
Polo Beach has a large outcropping of rocks to the south which creates some wonderful tide pools. There is a small outcropping on the north side which tends to separate this portion of Polo Beach from the northern portion, which is typically occupied by guests of Fairmont Kai Lani Hotel. Just a note that all beaches in Hawaii (which are not otherwise restricted due to hazardous conditions or other circumstances) are open to the public.
To access the beach from the property you will need a key to open the gate. The keys (normally 4) are located in your unit and are generally inserted into the beach towels provided. If you cannot locate the keys contact Destination Residences. You will also need a key to exit the beach and enter Polo Beach Club property.
Our pool sits on the south end of the property and is also just feet from the sand. The pool has lounge chairs and a limited number of umbrellas. Be sure to bring you own towels (provided in the unit). You will also need a key to access the pool. It is the same key as you use for access to the beach.
